The EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) Board of Directors has approved an equity investment of up to USD 50 million into United Capital Partners PEF II, L.P. The Fund will make equity and equity-related investments in fundamentally attractive small and medium sized companies. The Fund will focus on investments primarily in Russia and the CIS, with the objective of achieving long term capital growth.

Representatives of United Capital Partners Group of Companies – Ilya Sherbovich, Alexander Koval and Alexander Bogdashin – have been elected to the Board of Directors of LLC "Uralmash Oil and Gas Equipment Holding". Through this joint venture UCP, jointly with OMZ/Uralmash, has been developing a project for the production of drilling rigs and equipment since 2010. LLC "Uralmash Oil and Gas Equipment Holding" was acquired by UCP from Integra in 2010.

Mikhail Trofimov has joined UCP team as Head of Advisory Group. Prior to joining UCP, Mikhail Trofimov held the position of Deputy CEO, Head of Corporate Finance in ATON Group.

United Capital Partners (UCP) Group of Companies announces that it has established a consortium of investors that have acquired 25% minus one share in the capital of OJSC "Gazprom neftekhim Salavat". The consortium comprises UCP Group as well as its shareholders and financial investor clients. OJSC "Gazprom neftekhim Salavat" (formerly "Salavatnefteorgsintez") is a major Russian petrochemical and oil refining complex. The Company's core businesses are the production and sales of oil/petrochemical products and mineral fertilizers.
